Activist Training Workshop will go over that process as well as contacting your elected representatives so that when you go talk to them you are armed with the knowledge to present your case for marijuana law reform more effectively. We will have some speakers that have been there and done that to let us know things to look out for and what has worked best for them. I hope to see you there.The primary elections are coming up with the Precinct and Senate Conventions to follow a few weeks after that. We are encouraging everyone to become part of the political process in order to change marijuana laws in Texas. That starts with getting resolutions on the various political parties platforms. We were able to get regulating marijuana like alcohol on the Texas Democratic party platform in 2012. We are planning on re-introducing that resolution and some others. These resolutions spark an open discussion about marijuana and plant the seeds of change that lead to changes in peoples views including the politicians that make the laws. Our
