Romana Harding is a proud Navy veteran. The VA sent her from California to Houston for treatment for her service connected PTSD in March of 2012.
She was interviewed for the Texas Monthly article, War Without End by Dr. William Martin of the Baker Institute that came out in June of 2014.
That article was a catalyst for her becoming a cannabis activist, lobbying and testifying before various legislative committee’s Austin.
She was also interviewed by the Dallas Observer with other Veterans for the article Onward Cannabis Warriors, about the Texas Veteran’s medical cannabis movement.
She is currently Deputy Director for Houston NORML and Veterans Outreach Director for Montgomery County NORML and actively promoting Operation Trapped, a program started by Texas NORML to send a message to state lawmakers that it’s time for a safer alternative to harmful prescription medicine.
