We are the Houston chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws which is a non-profit organization, 501 c 4, dedicated to educating the public about marijuana and lobbying for as change in local, state and federal law.

We do not advocate the breaking of any laws, only the reform of unjust marijuana related laws.

Houston NORML originated in 1989 with founders Rick Potthoff and Richard Lee. We have been active in many educational events to inform the public about the benefits of marijuana. We have led the fight for saner marijuana laws with events such as our Evict the DEA protest to the Journey for Justice to getting the message out on the airwaves of the local media.
